boatman 3 #1 Posted February 14, 2010 B) <_< Hey guys, just had another question on electric lift system. Does the one end of the actuator go the floor rad same as hydraulic cylynder? I have never seen one on a tractor. I have a 312 hydro and hydraulic cyl. goes on the step plate rod behind brake peddlel. I would appreciate any info or pics of the electric set up. thanks to all

Horse Fanatic 51 #4 Posted February 14, 2010 It goes to a bracket which attaches to the frame, It doesn't sit level like the hydraulic cylinders do, they go "uphill" towards the engine. Also, it is wider and they used a different side cover. Also the support under the battery tray has to be trimmed. You can download an installation manual. boatman 3 #5 Posted February 16, 2010 B) suject electric lift rock shaft Rick I was wondering if you could give me a measurmeant of how long the bracket on the rock shaft where the actuator mounts is? would like to know distance from center of rock shaft to hole where pin goes thru to hold actuator in bracket. I figure I can make a shaft if I had that measurement.Just wanted to have the right leverage and distance of travel. THanks
Miles 1 #6 Posted February 16, 2010 Glenn, where can you download an installation manual. I too am interested in doing something like this. I was wondering what other model of tractors they used the electric lift on as well. Daniel B)

Dresden Guy 24 #8 Posted February 17, 2010 I have tried entering the P/N #8-4223 on the Toro site and it says "no part is found" What is the item(s). Help!! Thanks
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #9 Posted February 17, 2010 It's not a part number, it's a model number. (and it's actually listed as 84223 ~ without the hyphen) I know you're trying to find the C-160 version, which means you need to look up 84222.
