The 1st thing I do before I start to tear anything apart is to soak all the nuts and bolts with PB Blaster for a day or so. I usually soak them a few times before trying to break them lose. Go slowly!. Losen a couple turns, then tighten, working back and forth, soaking as you go. This helps clean the threads. I hate broken bolts. Just a suggestion that has worked for me. Tom B.
