2-stage Snow Blower question

Recommended Posts

Wheel Horse Fan

So I saw a craigslist add for a 2-stage snow blower. The price listed was $1600. Is that even close to what the go for? It seems insanely high to me. I haven't seen any 2 stages for sale before so I have no idea what the go for.

That's a good price if it comes with a free 520-H I don't think that they went for that new.

Now thats funny right there Karl!

But seriously that real high priced. I would say it might even be double what it should be going for in real nice, almost perfect shape.

The seller probably set the price real high thinking someone who's real worried about the latest snowstorms might bite.

Keep looking and if your serious post a wanted ad in the classified section right here at Redsquare.

Mike.......

I got an awesome deal on mine for $200 B) I believe they were $1800 new from toro. I would say the average price is $450-$700. There is one on ebay for 850 buy it now.

It's listed on craigslist. At first I thought he put an extra 0 on the listing. I emailed him to find out. He said the price of $1600 was correct, but it comes with chains and wheel weights.

We got 12+ inches of snow here on Saturday and supposed to get another 12" today. So it was the right time to sell, but I am sure it wont sell for near $1600.

I am looking for a blower, but trying to keep it around $200 give or take and a single stage will work fine for me. My biggest problem is getting my 416 w/blade from the shed to the driveway. I have to use my snapper walk behind to make a path first.

Maybe I will pick one up at the show.
