Horse'n Around 22 #1 Posted February 9, 2010 I picked up a old Tecumseh engine a couple of weeks ago. The tag on the shroud says the model number is 143-571072,the serial number is 7087 and there is another number with no description which is 09254.For the most part it looks like the 3 1/2 HP Tecumseh that I had on my Rupp mini bike(I wish I still had that thing) but it has a diaphram carb and the muffler mounts on the side of the block rather than next to the carburator. Does anyone know what I have? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, John
Sparky-(Admin) 23,170 #2 Posted February 9, 2010 I bet thats a Sears part #. They used a lot of Tec motors on their older power equipment and tractors. Mike.......
