I think I see a grease fitting on the second picture. Looks like some one notched the frame and added two bearings or bushings to mount something. I don't know what it could be for, what ever it was they keep it well greased.

Remove the added bearings and weld pieces back in the notches and grind it back smooth. Unless your rebuilding it or take it apart to repaint I would just leave it like it is.

Looks like the picture is the 3/4 post the pedals on, and i think the hole in it was for grease. If you move the pedal on the other side of the frame . I think you will find one there to. The other picture looks like someone welded some u joint straps on for hanging something.

Chevy is a good kid and 14 from what I remember in the chat room. It is really great to see a young man taking interest in these little red tractors.
