Docwheelhorse 2,740 #1 Posted February 6, 2010 Okay.... so I wasn't going to post this out of embaressment. BUT----Sparky told me to as comic relief and I am not one to get a mod upset. I get a call from a guy who has a .... WAIT FOR IT.... C160 8 Speed Seems his father died and he doesnt need it and on and on. So of course I go look at it and both front tires are flat and peeled off the rims. The snow plow that went with it is for a short frame and has no back bracket . The 42" deck is whisper quiet and to top it all off. The engine is a replacement K341---I dunno from when but it has the newer Magnum style flywheel screen. The sticker says for export or direct replacement only. It runs like a champ and I sealed the deal... Here is a pic--yes I threw a set of crummy 6" front wheels on till I can get tubes in the old tires---they aren't dry rotted and are a cool tread design. Anyways... don't ask me how all these 160's landed in my lap---I guess I must have pleased the big guy upstairs recently... No---none of them are for sale at the moment, I have to sit back and figure out this whole "mess" Tony (changing his name to Doctor 160.....) 416-8 C165-8 C160 Auto---Parts unit (maybe an intensive restoration) C160 Auto C161 Auto C160-8 C160-8 C160-8 C160-8 C160-8 Plus a whole nother pile of 10/12/14 HP 8 spd tractors and then the pile of Commando 8's / the sixties stuff. Someone call addiction services quick!! I am in the planing stages for a workshop to get all this stuff neat, tidy and running!!

Docwheelhorse 2,740 #6 Posted February 6, 2010 Hello all, first off---Steve my favorite tractor is a Commando 8... My SECOND favorite tractor is a C160. Irv---you find that if you brag and talk about your Wheel Horses at work and with your friends and anybody else that will listen and then you have some Wheel Horse stuff in front of your house and strangers stop by. You start getting the I have my fathers old dead Wheel Horse and I don't want it and I know somebody over there that has one and can I get your phone number and on and on.... till you start getting calls. Then look out..... the stuff adds up quick. Once I get my workshop setup I am going to be cleaning up and selling off several tractors. Tony
Rollerman 290 #7 Posted February 6, 2010 Tony I think once you own so many Wheel Horse C160's you have to pay a Horse owners luxury tax? Come to think about it maybe your some Wheel Horse buying Jedi useing mind tricks?

nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #9 Posted February 6, 2010 Nice Tony, now what are you going to do with all those 160's? You really should share! That one looks really nice, I was immediatly drawn to that seat, it looks really nice. Is that one a 74 or 75? One of these days, it would be nice to get an 8-speed companion for my automatic, need a house sitter when you go in vacation? B)

Irv 115 #12 Posted February 6, 2010 Well Tony, I don't think I'm going to talk too much about them because I really don't want to be tempted to buy anymore tractors because I too am out of room. I built a new shed last spring (12' x 16') and it as well as my old shed are full now. Make sure when you build yours, go bigger than you think you'll need 'cause you will fill it up quick the way you're going.
