dandan111 31 #1 Posted January 31, 2010 I bought a 654 yesterday,it needs some help. Anyway,it has the light kit on it with the rear tail light. The front lense covers are bullet shaped. A picture is almost certainly a must in this case. ... and

MikesRJ 558 #5 Posted January 31, 2010 The "correct" lights for your model are the HL-5. See the following manual for a description of those and let us know if yours are the same or something different. If different you'll need to post a picture of what you have. http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...s_HL-5_xxxx.pdf Also, a member here has produce an HL-5 after-market kit?: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...c=10659&hl=hl-
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #6 Posted January 31, 2010 There were at least two different types of lenses used during the run of the HL-5 kits. One set is domed and sticks out well beyond the bezel. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=1134

dandan111 31 #8 Posted January 31, 2010 I bet it is the same one you saw on cl. The price looked great to me also. The tractor is what I was looking for,the hood is a little messed up. I want to clean it up fix the hood, replace some decals and use it for the kids to learn how to plow snow and cut grass. - nice orignal. The lights made me go buy it, I couldnt help myself. It was 3hrs away! I will get some pictures, I stopped by a car wash and sprayed it off last night, what a frozen mess that was.

MikesRJ 558 #14 Posted January 31, 2010 Pretty clean looking and original. You also have the rarely found "bug" lights too. Pretty good deal. Good luck with it.
dandan111 31 #15 Posted January 31, 2010 I tried to get her going, she would fire but not run. Time to rebuild the carb I quess. I think I will try it -first time rebuild. I got the carb off, will napa have the stuff? It has a fuel pump I would like to remove it looks like crap and I dont know why it needs it the tank should be high enough right? Also the engine cover does not have a hole to run the fuel line through it. Would this be correct? -I have pulled enough mouse nests/straw out of the cover to make a bale!
