wesley 32 #26 Posted March 9, 2008 Can se that getting the steering wheel of the shaft is going to be a pig, have stood it upright and filled the boss with oil to soak down the sharft, roll pin came out fine, will leave it for a few days to soak wes
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #27 Posted March 9, 2008 90% of the ones that I've ever sucessfully removed were done in a hydraulic press, Wes. I don't even bother trying to get the roll pin out anymore -- I just let it shear off and clean the pieces out of the holes later.

CasualObserver 3,406 #32 Posted March 11, 2008 Isn't it funny how a disassembled tractor can disappear into the backdrop? The space looked cramped and full with a complete tractor parked there... but little by little the space opened back up. Just amuses me how little space they take up when they're in pieces!
