Some tractors had elect. lift from the factory, I think it was the 400/500 series tractors but could be had on the older tractors just not very common, it can be added just the factory stuff is bringing big money when you find it.

i'm sure with a little work you could add a hyd pump to run a hyd. lift cyl.

I installed the electric lift on my C-125 and it lifts the rear tiller and snowblower attachements just fine.

i like the electric, but it is slow. i was thinking about taking it of the 417 and adding it on the 520 just to have an independent rear hitch. that way i could have the snow blower on the front and a blade on the back. :thumbs:

Does anyone have a source for a comparable electric motor (Linear Actuator) similar to the original? I've been trying to locate a source for one, but have no idea of the original actuators specifications.

The spec's needed would be:

* Voltage: 12 VDC

* Stroke in inches

* Retracted length in inches

* Max load capacity in Lbs.

* Max static capacity in Lbs.

* Speed @ max load

Here's a Wheel Horse electric lift cylinder for sale on Ebay. Maybe the owner will give you some measurements.

Here's the auction number

that would be great Rick. Let me know what you come up with and I will try to spec. an aftermarket cylinder.

Any of the following you can get off one you have would be helpful.

The spec's needed would be:

* Voltage (known): 12 VDC

* Stroke in inches (shaft length extended)

* Retracted length in inches (overall length pin-joint to pin-joint retracted)

* Max load capacity in Lbs. (on the label perhaps)

* Max static capacity in Lbs. (on the label perhaps)

* Speed @ max load (on the label perhaps)

Here are a few pictures I put up on Photo bucket. snow horse

There are a lot of brackets that go with the lift, I installed it on my Raider years ago to lift its snow blade. Doug
