jgun45879 196 #1 Posted January 24, 2010 Hello, Question for the smarter than I. On a starter/generator set up, with regulator mounted on the top, does the regulator need to be grounded? I notice that most starter/gen. have tapped mounting holes for the regulator but have come across a few with no mounting holes. If the regulator were just strapped to the starter/gen. somehow, would it still work or would it have to be grounded ? Thanks for any and all help. Jim.
