TractorNut 0 #1 Posted January 20, 2010 Looking to put ag tires on and wondering what's a good height/width. I want to raise it up some for retrieving firewood in the woods.

joel_400 59 #4 Posted January 21, 2010 You may try to look for a 7.00-12. They are about an inch taller than the 23-8.50-12. I have a set of them on my plow tractor and they fit on the standard 7 inch rim. They are a carlisle brand tire, but what model I can't remember at the time. I bought them new years ago. I haven't been able to find another place that sells them anymore and my supplier no longer sells them. You might try ME Miller tire though. Hope this may help. TractorNut 0 #5 Posted January 21, 2010 Thanks for the input. I was looking at it yesterday and it actually seems to have some good ground clearance. It's not like I'm going to be skidding logs over rough terrain or anything like that plus my cart has less ground clearance.
