BPC23 18 #1 Posted January 20, 2010 I purchased this K321S engine used, but I believe it to be from a 1971 Bronco 14, at least that's what the engine spec number (60124B) references to on the lists I've seen. But when I look at the Wheel Horse and Kohler parts lists, neither of them show a part that looks like the carburetor throttle shaft clamp. Mine is cracked and I'd like to replace it if possible before the darn thing won't clamp on the shaft at all. In the picture below, I've removed the governor linkage from the carburetor throttle shaft clamp. So, as you've probably guessed, my question is,,, what's the part number of the carburetor throttle shaft clamp (shown below)?
rickv1957 75 #2 Posted January 20, 2010 That resembles clamp on older carb, maybe mid 60s,Rick
BPC23 18 #3 Posted January 20, 2010 Hummmm, maybe this is an engine fromt the 60's and someone replaced the flywheel housing with one from a 70's engine? That should make ordering engine repair parts a little difficult. I hope much didn't change between those decades. I'll nose around Kohler's site at some 60's engine manuals and see if I can identify the clamp. Thanks for the hint! Brian
BPC23 18 #4 Posted January 21, 2010 Rick, your tip worked! I pulled up the parts list from a K241S-46215A and found the part! It's P/N-236670. Thanks again! Brian
