does any one have a good picture of a 657 tractor on booth sides so I can print it out.these seem to be hard to find, at least in my search. thank you for your time and also for looking. Gary B... :wwp::lol::thumbs::hide::banghead: :WRS:

thanks Guys, so W/Horse only made that model in a tecmseh engine with a pull start? there was no Kohler engine option with a start/Gen model???if this not true please let me know I would like to collect that model if it exists Gary B..... :banghead::WRS::thumbs::wwp::lol::hide: :lol:

The model number "describes" the tractors horsepower, transmission, and year. (with some exceptions)

A 657 would translate as:

6 = 6hp

5 = 3 speed transaxle with electric start engine

7 = 1967

The one you're asking about with the electric start Kohler would be an 857. Almost identical to the 657, but with wider tires and an 8hp Kohler.
