Redbird 1 #1 Posted January 18, 2010 Yep, we have 2 new horses in our herd. One is a 1975 C-120 Auto w/cultivators. The other is a 1969 Charger Auto Electro 12. Some of you may remember the C-120 at the WHCC show in June. Well, after some problems, then, disappointment on this end.....David finally has his pride and joy. Thank you Eldon! The 2 horses now bring our herd, combined, to about 24. Enjoy!!! Hopefully this isn't too many pic for this post lol
nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #2 Posted January 18, 2010 That sure is a nice set of machines, Eldon sure does good work. Is that a 1975, or a 1977? If it's the one I'm thinking of it's: Model Number : 71-12KS02 Serial Number : 8468 7053
Redbird 1 #3 Posted January 18, 2010 Karl....... That's the 1975 C-120 that Eldon had at the show in June. The Charger Automatic Electro 12 is a 1969. T C=120 is the same one David was going to get back then. Long story, but, bottom line---it's here now He even puts shop rags on the running boards so as not to get the mats dirty. He is so proud of that tractor. We are planning to bring it, along with a number of others, to the show in June. May even make 2 trips and bring 2 loads. nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #4 Posted January 18, 2010 I'm 95% sure that this is the c-120 that he brought to the show. Of course cleaned up a little bit Eldon style.
Redbird 1 #5 Posted January 18, 2010 Yes Karl, it is the one Eldon brought to the WWCC show last June. My husband rode it over to our camp to show me, because he planned on buying it. It was spit shined and polished then too---looked like glass then and still looks like glass now. And sounds soooooo good when it's running :banghead:
Buzz 502 #7 Posted January 18, 2010 Beautiful tractors. David looks like a proud papa next to his "babies". Are you planning on bringing them to the Little Guys Show in May?

Redbird 1 #16 Posted January 19, 2010 Hi Buzz! Would you please PM me with the details of the Little Guy Show? Hey Ray! As for the bedroom------Not sleeping on the couch, YET lol. David hasn't quite figured out how to get the C-120 IN the house and UP the stairs. I know he told a lot of you guys at the WHCC show last June that THAT was his new girlfriend, and I'd be on the couch when she came home He has also built up a C-160 for pulling. It has weights on the back-center-and front--the thing's a tank! I'll take pics and post them when the weather's better and we can bring it outside. Only thing left now is the paint job. I'm thinking of adding Bugeyes to my 551. I was thinking of putting a battery in toolbox under the seat and wire it with an inline fuse and toggle switch. Any sugestions? I direct wired backup lights, in my van, that way yrs ago and they worked great. So, I think it will work. I'm also thinking of having 2 hoods--one with the lights and one without, depending on how I feel like showing it at the time. :banghead:
