TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted January 17, 2010  Your local Kohler dealer would be a start. If there isn't one close by, look on eBay or the internet in general for rebuild kits or individual pieces. A lot of parts are available through aftermarket suppliers, but be forewarned -- you get what you pay for. Most outdoor power equipment dealers can usually help you with parts, supplies, and tools, along with recommending places to have machine work done if needed. rmaynard 16,241 #3 Posted January 17, 2010 :banghead: Welcome aboard. Glad you joined. Let us know where you are located. I agree with "TT". Many sources for Kohler parts and kits. Check eBay, but be sure you are getting genuine Kohler parts. Some of the aftermarket stuff now is coming from China. May work now, but in the long haul you will wish you had used the better stuff. VinsRJ 723 #4 Posted January 17, 2010  www.opeengines.com has original Kohler parts usually in stock for K-Series motors. Keep in mind original Kohler parts are more expensive than Cheena parts.

Ken B 3,188 #6 Posted January 17, 2010 My advice is too use Kohler parts in your American made motor. As noted, you get what you pay for.

Buzz 502 #8 Posted January 17, 2010 You can look up part numbers for your engine on the Kohler site. Go to: http://www.kohlerplus.com/login.asp Enter as Guest. Scroll down and click on "K series K91-662". Click on "K181". Go to page 13 of 52 to get to your spec number 30108. Then you can look up the numbers you need. Once you know what part numbers you need you can start shopping. Good luck. In case you don't have an engine manual, here it is: http://www.kohlerengines.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/tp_2379.pdf
