Shuboxlover 481 #1 Posted January 14, 2010 Is this the only thing I need to rebuild the carb on my K341s? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT Is rebuilding this as easy as rebuilding a briggs carb? I'v done some of those (which I thought was easy) but never have touched a Kohler one.
rmaynard 16,301 #2 Posted January 14, 2010 There is not much to the carb. If it is like my K241S, all you need is what is shown. Be sure to clean everything in the carb with a good carb cleaner. Biggest problem I had was a tiny piece of dirt in one of the ports. Had to probe it with a fine wire. Assuming that you have rebuilt or at least adjusted a Kohler carb before. use the initial setting in the manual, then fine tune. Should be a piece of cake.
