C-160 Questions before restore

I am suppose to go inspect/buy a C-160 (1-0481) this Saturday and need a good checklist of things to look for or test and how. I know this C-160 has a hydro and the cold weather is a factor for hydros - am I right? This tractor also has a hydraulic cylinder for lifting attachments - is this an item to be concerned about? The PO is including a tiller, a dozer blade, mower deck, disc, wheel weights and chains.

What would you suggest to listen for or look for when the motor is running? I already kow that the ignition switch is missing and has to be "hot-wired". The C-160 has a K341S-71128A engine and the owner says it runs "fine".

From your experience, what are the most typical problems might I expect with the C-160 ? e.g. - Sunstrand hydro (90-1140)? K341 engine? wiring? hydraulics unit? etc.?, etc.?

I am a newbie getting ready to do my first restore project and need expert advice so as to get this C-160 ready for "showing at the County Fair" - not really, but at least to my neighbor.

I know some of my questions sound very amateurish, but I know that a restore project will provide a wealth of wisdom....and maybe some frustration along the way. That's where my expert "RS friends" come in.
