zero 0 #1 Posted January 12, 2010 I have purchased a 2003 model 315-8 tractor which has electrical problems. It will not crank with the key, but by jumpering the battery terminals, I can engage the starter and crank the engine. There is no spark while doing this despite having the Key in the run position. By disconnecting the mag ground wire at the plug entering the flywheel housing, I get a good spark. I believe that there is something amiss here with the safety disconnects. There are relays in this electrical system that I have not encountered with my older tractors. Can anyone post for me an electrical schematic for this tractor? Zero Pottsville, Pa. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,643 #3 Posted January 12, 2010 You can download the demystification guide from Toro. Go to the link below: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...ification+guide Follow the instructions given in the 5th post. It will have all electrical information, including schematics, on tractors built after 1985 or 1986, including your 315-8.
