truckin88 104 #1 Posted January 10, 2010 Here is my snow crew: C-120 8 speed weights and ags, 48" plow, original snow cab (just got it from a dealer, it was taken off a WH with a blown engine), the cab is from a WH, as the rear fender holes are perfect with the mounts. Had to fab some front mounts and put the front fabric on. Led Beacon, baja spot lights, blazer rear floods, and homedepot switch box. C175 hydro w/ ags and 48" blade. You may have seen it on ebay I got some offers, but I am gonna keep it, just was trying to work a deal on a maroon stripe at the time. It is a beast once I got the points dried up. truckin88 104 #19 Posted January 10, 2010 Since herd. Where did you get the LED beacon and how much did it cost? If you don't mind me asking. Nice pictures! Guys thanks for all the kind words, I will put some more pics of the cab and tractor when it is out working. The LED becon is a preco, I got it for about $45 with free shipping off ebay, which is about $10 cheaper from other places I called. It is a name brand as we use their stuff on the railroad. The thing that makes me laugh on the bottom it says, designed in the USA...Built in China....at least it is half way there. The wiring and switches and other lights were walmart specials to keep costs down, but all automotive grade, and the box that I used, is a PVC junction box, all weather that seals. I need to zip tie and tidy up some of the wire/loom still. The dealer said it came off a 520, and was sitting around for a long time, but I am thinking more and more a black hood, especially with how the back fabric is....would be perfect for the original fiberglass fenders. I had a deal go bad on a cab w/ a member on here (who has a reputation), but luckily paypal backed me up. Called around and got this one 10 minutes from my house for cheaper.... All that is left is the 175 needing some weights
