KB9LOR 4 #1 Posted January 7, 2010 How do you tell if a Wheelhorse is a long or short frame? I mean I know a 867 is a short frame, but what about a Raider, Electro, etc....when it is not obvious? This inquiring mind would like to know....lol!
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted January 7, 2010 Measure the wheel base. Short = 41" (502, 704, 856, etc.) Medium = 43" ('74-'75 B-80 & B-100 & ?) Long = 45" (1056, 1277, Raiders, Chargers, C-120, C-161, C-105, 300/400/non swept-forward front axle 500, etc.) (Measurements are rounded off) This applies to the "standard" garden tractor models.
