I have been looking for one for a while now

100_3823.jpg

serial #48223 kohler k161 spec #28626E

100_3821.jpg

She doesn't seem to be in bad shape the p.o. says it has not been run in a couple

of years looks like she's had a repaint but decals look all orginal

100_3819.jpg

100_3825.jpg

Two an half hours of almost white out single lane 30 miles per hour driving from erie pa to salamanca ny

glad we had the four wheel drive .The rest of the trip was pretty good driving

sunday morning at our house

won't try to get her started until the weather warms up :WRS:

Brian...nice pics...put a blade on that baby and have some fun. :banghead:

You are lucky...my wife wouldn't think of going on a trip like that for a horse when it was nice out, and hehehe I probably wouldn't take her for sure when the weather was like you had.

Wow, that's a heck of a ride for a tractor. Looks like a nice one! I wonder what is the furthest distance anyone has traveled to pick up a Wheel Horse?

What a haul!

Most importantly, glad to hear that you guys made it back home safely. I am sure the added weight didn't hurt either!

Congrats on the haul!

Here's a thread we had going on that very subject a while back..... Furthest Haul

Buckrancher.... Very nice.... is it going to get the same treatment your 854 did?

Nice find! How did you manage to find this in Leavenworth Indiana?

I live about 45 miles west of there, and actually worked at Jasper Engines & Transmissions located just north of I-64 about 1/2 mile on Indiana 66.

Wish I would have known about that treasure!

"You go guy!"

Wow. I'm a little more north than you and looks like you got more snow. Hard to figure this lake-effect sometimes. I was watching the radar and it looked like there was a dome over my house.

I second that. I used to make road trips often but with the current gas prices it isnt as easy.

I might have a short road trip next weekend....maybe.

Of course nice tractor Buckrancher  . A rare 754!

Long Haul! And well worth it!! I used to live in "Old" town Leavenworth back in the early to late seventies, nice country, have a G-ma over in Alton In, just east of Buzzards Roost. I know of someone out that way was selling a whole herd of them back in the summer, didn't last long though, wish I could remember where I saw the ad for them.

key switch has been changed haven't looked too see what has been changed in the wiring may also be a starter soliniod add

I have the parts to return her to original form
