Horse Fanatic 51 #1 Posted January 4, 2010 I just uploaded some pics I took during the summer and I had these of my 414. This is unrestored, all original paint, decals, seat etc. The PO took excellent care of it. The only thing I did was to put new tires on the back because I like the look of the 9.5" rather than the 8.5" wide.

Rideawaysenior 25 #3 Posted January 4, 2010 Glen, You sure have a nice group of horses there. I finally replaced that 516-H I sold to you. I picked up a 520-H. I just like the sound of that Onan engine when it's working. Jack
Duff 206 #4 Posted January 4, 2010 The PO took excellent care of it. Glenn, that's a major understatement! That machine is gorgeous - almost NOS! Congrats! Duff :banghead:
jpmcleod 4 #5 Posted January 4, 2010 Rideaway. I know what you mean by the sound of an Onan engine. I have one on another brand of tractor and you can really tell the difference when you crank it up.

Ohio312H 0 #22 Posted January 22, 2010 Nice looking machine! What brand of tires did you put on the back? They look like Carlisle Turf Savers, but I can't tell for sure.
IthacaJeff 151 #23 Posted January 22, 2010 I see that 414 and think, no way. There is no way I could ever keep my tractors looking like that. Frankly, I beat the daylights out of my 310 and my 416. Just put a new dent in the 310's fender as I backed into my truck bumper plowing (okay, not smart, but heck, accidents happen!). I check the oil, gear oil, clean the filters and screen, clean out the weeds from the engine baffles and around the chassis, but such maintenance is all I have time for. But boy, that 414 sure does sparkle! Jeff in Ithaca
