Another 1962 Lawn Ranger

Here's one of my 1962 Lawn Rangers, this one has the air filled front tires that came out shortly after they figured out the hard rubber front tires they had on the early 1962 Lawn Rangers, weren't very good! This is the 2nd style of front tires they used. In 1963 and 1964 they had a different style tire than this one. In 1965 they changed the Lawn Ranger front tires again to the more modern, wider style tires. More on these tires later.... :banghead:

I'll have to check the type of gas tank, either a one peice or 2 peice.

I think these front tires may be the same as the 1963 Lawn Ranger front tires and maybe 1964 also. In the back ground of the pic is a 1964 Lawn Ranger and it has the same type of tire it seems. I should check it out up close though, they could be a little different. The hood could have been replaced on this tractor. It was repainted years ago. Thanks guys for the input! :banghead: I have another Lawn Ranger that has some cool rear tires on it. They are called Jumbo Jr's, made by General Tire Co. They only used them for a short priod of time on the early Lawn Rangers. Anyone see any Jumbo Jr's out there? KJ

My '63 Ranger has that edge piece on the side of the hood, Charlie. Here's a thread about them: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=4278&hl=

And it has tires like the ones in the picture.
