snowbelter 0 #1 Posted December 30, 2009 Hi, First time post. I live in Oswego County, Central NY's snowbelt country. Since 2002, I have moved mountains of snow with my 520H equipped with plow, WH single stage, Bercomac 2 stage, WH 2 stage (#1), Berco threw snow further, but could not keep a belt on it. My question is , though I love my 520, the hydraulics are dreadfully slow to warm in the winter. Sometimes, it takes up to 15 minutes to move, depending on the temp. Oil and filter change help a little, but not for long. Any advice on oil weights, or filter specs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I would upload a picture, but this website will not allow a picture the size of the one my camera takes. Any advise on how to fix that problem would be good too! Thanks! nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #2 Posted December 30, 2009 Hi and The Eaton trans sure does take a long time to warm up, and I really don't have much of a suggestion for that except maybe heated garage? My 416 is really slow in the winter too until it warms up, then it's fine. Ken B 3,189 #3 Posted December 30, 2009 Napa sells a magnetic block heater. I just put it on the bottom of the rear diff on my Electro 12, plug it in and I'm good to go no matter how cold it is. Works for me!

You can also change the camera settings to take smaller pictures as well. Check your owners manual on how to do that.
