Got hubs in the mail today from ebay and they were so nice I just degreased them and painted them along with some more engine parts, frame and dash housing. My buddy will help me assemble it on Sunday so keep an eye out for pictures!

I assembled the engine and it looks really nice!

Got some stuff done today.

Did some finishing touches on the weight box, fixed up the fenders and made braces, made a steering wheel adapter and welded it to the steering wheel.

Something really cool that I was quite tickled about as a finished product was my coil/regulator plate. I used a die grinder cutting wheel and cut out a rectangle to go over the giant hole in the tower on the frame. Then I polished it and engine turned it with steel wool. I made some custom coil brackets out of strips of aluminum I had lying around and then polished the regulator. I clear coated everything to make it anticorrosive.

Here's pics of course!

Not as much progress as hoped but all parts that need paint are sandblasted, wiring is done and dash.

To do the dash I painted it gloss black then used some thin masking tape to 'reproduce' the factory look with the thin silver lines. But I added custom effect to it. I added two warning lights. One is for ignition because I have a bad habit of leaving the key on and this tractor would be a PITA to jump start and the other is the charging light.

Battery fits snuggly between the frame rails:

Unfortunately we won't have the fiberglass grille shell done due to time but I am going to paint the cast iron shell for now unless I get some free time to make one out of glass. LOTS OF FREE TIME!

Gerry if you are coming to the show you can get a couple hot laps with it on Friday night.

This goes to anyone else who had a major part in this build!

No, but it can pop a scary big wheelie (belt grips) and can throw me off the seat if I break the tires loose on a turn.

First pull today!

Real eye turner but needs some work.

Pulling: Tires BITE no slippage whatsoever even when 100lbs under weight. Need to work on pulley sizes.

Engine needs tweaking.

Hard to believe that once was super rusted out hulk of a tractor! Great job bringing it back to life Charlie.

(P.S. I still owe you $30 for the bearings. I will get it out to you this week)
