Can you Weld? When i was a kid we madr a trailer from scrap. We found wheels 4X4's made a frame we used horse shoe poles for the axles drilled thru the 4x4 we got the wood from a old picnic table. It was pretty strong for somthing a couple of 11 year olds peiced togther, At a cost of 0 .. It lasted a good 8 - 9 years then we finaly had a bon fire with it :notworthy:

Build one yourself. No need to weld. My Father and I built this trailer in the early 60s, to be used with a Porter-Cable Mark 26 his first rider. Modified to match the L-107 when he bought it in 1967. All original..has been repainted once and a tire was replaced. She has hauled tons of crushed stone, rocks, fire wood and you name it over the past 45+ years.

Used a sign post (courtesy of the State of NY) for the draw bar, a couple pieces of angle iron from a bed frame. Some 2x4s and T-11 siding scraps from a porch building project. And some irreplaceable time with my father...

Only things purchased were the 3/4" axle, the wheel and some nuts and bolts.

I am thinking the time has come to replace the T-11 that forms the bed as shovels and rocks have begun to take their toll

I would have to agree even if you budget 200$ or pry even less you can build somthing way better, stronger, an will last longer an take more abuse then anything you can buy these days. axle pry the most toughest thing to find. but look at axle construction of a 139$ harbour frienght cart it aint much
