sawhorse 0 #1 Posted December 28, 2009 I have a 1989 310-8. Correct me if I am wrong but my machine has a 15 amp stator. Will I damage anything by running a sprayer that draws 11 amps? Even if I run it continuously? Specifically, this tree sprayer offered by Northerntool: http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/sto...94112_200394112 In case the above link does not work, it is the 26 gallon tree sprayer with the 5.5 gpm diaphram pump at 60 psi. Jim_M 179 #2 Posted December 28, 2009 You'll be ok. I doubt you'll be using it at night so other than putting a small charge back in the battery and the slight power draw for your ignition system the sprayer will be the only thing drawing any current. The 11 amp rating is the full load amperage draw rating. I doubt it draws more than 5 amps while you're using it.
