snow plow blade fit??

I have a chance to acquire a 42" snow plow blade model# 86-42BC01-02606 My question is will it fit on a 312-8 model 21-12K806 tractor? I live in Alaska and don't want to pay the huge shipping cost and find out it won't fit. I'm also in the market for a snowthrower attachment for the same tractor and also a D series tractor and attachments that are in good shape. I plan on making a trip to the upper midwest this spring with my pickup and trailer to haul back to Alaska. Thanks...

Should fit. It comes up as a 1978 snow blade that fits the c series tractors, so if you have the rear attchment bracket it should fit without a problem.

just make sure you get a good look or picture of the front. on some of the older blades the previous owner did not change the scraper bar often enough and wear it down to the bolts.

hi yes it will fit your machine . just make sure you get the rear attachment bracket to go with it . with out it the plow is uselass . also if you get a snow blower for it make sure it is complete with the lift flag , lift bar . tensioner pully set up and belt also make sure the scraper edge isnt worn away bad . :notworthy:

Thanks guys. I'll have to get the rear attachment kit separately. I see a few listed on ebay. like I mentioned i plan to make a trip to the lower 48 from Alaska around the first part of May and will will be looking to acquire a D series tractor or a 500-400 series tractor with a snow thrower attachment and a tiller. If you come across anything shoot me an email. If any of you guys have something that you've all ready fixed up and is in decent shape you want to sell let me know to. I'm willing to pay good money in what you have.
