Although I have never seen one of those blades, it comes up as a 1961 and appears that it is made for a short frame tractor like the 551. Your tractor requires a long frame application. Hopefully someone with more experience will come along with some more info for you and verify this.

The BD-4271 was (is) for the 1961 701 tractor

If you were desperate enough, you could modify it to work on a GT-1600 - but I don't think hacking it up would be a good idea.

Perhaps someone here might be interested in trading a correct blade for your GT if you would happen to get that one. :notworthy:
