Rollerman 290 #1 Posted December 16, 2009 I first seen this loader a few years ago & put it on the back burner. The guy who built it never quite finished it & decided it was time to let it go. We agreed on a price & worked out a day we could meet. It's not as large as the KW's or Arc's & the arms even come pretty close to the front tires with the 520 "SFA" on my 85 416-8. I'll have to make a mount for the pump & filter. The resevoir is built into the upright with the controls on it. He used standard Wheel Horse mid lift cylinders to rotate the bucket with a cantilever setup. It's overly complex but seems to work without binding. One thing I'm not crazy about are the single action lift cylinders. I'd like to have it power down. I'll be heading to the recent FEL thread here to get ideas for mounting the pump. Right now as it sets nothing is 100% assembled. Just checking the fit & getting ideas for the pump. Pics.....
sorekiwi 761 #2 Posted December 16, 2009 Interesting project, Stephen! No wonder you are running out of room with all those laoder tractors up there. Maybe one needs to come to Ohio for a bit...
