Shuboxlover 474 #1 Posted December 16, 2009 Without pictures is a sin, but I ask you fine people anyway.... What is a running RJ58 in good (not great..not poor) condition worth????
Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted December 16, 2009 If orig. and not cut up, has the belt guard, exh. shield, good gas tank, fenders, correct engine, even kinda ruff couple hundred, with out some parts less, but as you said very hard to judge with out a picture. stevebo-(Moderator) 8,112 #5 Posted December 16, 2009 I would expect to pay $250-$400 here in the NE maybe a bit more.
bell 11 #6 Posted December 16, 2009 Just a rough idea, but I would probably pay $250- $350 if I was looking for one. Good luck and let us know if it comes home with you! JB

Shuboxlover 474 #8 Posted December 16, 2009 Just a stupid question...as I am fairly new to the Wheel Horse craze....(but very stricken) Is this machine a versatile tractor, or is it one of those that's just cool to say you have one in the shed? What can/can't I do with it.
Kelly 1,028 #9 Posted December 16, 2009 There are a lot of attachments for that tractor, plows, disk, mowers, sickle bars, ect..... no your not going to do what a 520 will do, but it will do alot for it's size and hp it has.
Rideawaysenior 25 #10 Posted December 16, 2009 It'll pull a 3000lb stone boat.
Gene_S 93 #11 Posted December 16, 2009 Shuboxlover, Funny you said "I have one in the shed", I do have one in the shed that came with new tires for $400. The quastion to ask the members is, If you had a RJ58 and was going to sell it, how much would you want? I'm sure the $200 would not come up much. There a neat little machine but nothing your going to be happy using like a 520, like Kelly said. I'd like to see a video of a RJ pulling a 3000 pound dead waight stone boat tho! Thanks, Gene
VinsRJ 721 #12 Posted December 16, 2009 I would expect to pay $250-$400 here in the NE maybe a bit more. I agree with Steve in the NE area...... I just sold my parts Rj without much dickering.
jpmcleod 4 #13 Posted December 16, 2009 In Central Florida the two back tires are worth $100.00 in decent shape. I would give $200.00 just to get the rear tires and put them on my C120.
Michael Bullington 5 #14 Posted December 17, 2009 maybe i should add it was a pretty good deal...Sold it for $500.
