D-180 Mower Deck Question

Will the deck from my D180 fit a 1969 GT14? I have a guy interested in it for his GT

Im almost positive that it won't fit on a Gt-14, the D series deck carrage is wider that the Gt-14, the Gt-14 didn't come with the same mid tachamatic the the D series came with, im sure you could put a mid tachamatic on it and make a front tachamatic that will bolt on (if i recall i seem to remember a topic on dealing with that a while ago) and you will have to find a mule drive from a B, C, 300, 400 series tractor along some good ole fabercating and welding, wou might be able to make it fit, and please anyony correct me if i am wrong

He's right, it won't fit unless he/you do some heavy modification to the hangers, linkages, and belt tensioners. Many things are possible though if you are creative and don't mind home rigging something.
