picked up a 416-8 and a 12 8speed

picked up the 12 8 speed thursday it has a broken rod was ran with no oil. i had a good engine waiting for it. picked up the 416-8 today bought it only for the engine for my C-161 it looks rough but it sure does run good. i will be parting the rest out.

when i got the 12 8 speed home i wanted to look to see what the rod tore up . so i pulled the head pluged the valve cover vent and put compressed air in the dipstick hole. At first the pistion wouldn't move so i gave it some more air man did it come out that time smacked the celin hard. heres a pics 1in thick plywood

did it tear up the cylinder,nice score on the horses

small chip out of the botton of the cylinder still useable crank has to be turned also got a complete k301 in the deal. the guy said he knows nothing about it pullud the head looks to be recently rebuilt bored 0.10
