T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #2 Posted February 22, 2008 We have been getting hit the last couple of days here in south eastern Missouri with sleet and freezing rain. Now it's snowing lightly. Ugh.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,121 #3 Posted February 22, 2008 Terry did you get the plow switched over to the 314?

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #5 Posted February 22, 2008 Terry did you get the plow switched over to the 314? No. I was going to do it the other evening but I had a guy come over to look at one of my JDs (ended of selling one). Never got around to moving it. I keep telling myself, certainly this one storm is the last one for the season. Anyways, this sleet and freezing rain is kind of hard to move. I also been downtown St. Louis the last couple of days (daughter is a big Stars On Ice fan).
Rollerman 290 #6 Posted February 22, 2008 Sounds like this bunch of snow snuck around south of me? Sun has been shineing & the birds singing here today? So Terry which JD left you...the 200 series? I'm getting ever so close to bringing that 65 110 W/hyd home.
kpinnc 10,762 #7 Posted February 22, 2008 I'm getting ever so close to bringing that 65 110 W/hyd home And what exactly are you waiting for? Sorry Stephen, I am only joking... I hate to say so, but I actually like those. Yes, I know I posted this in the wrong place! Kevin
combatmp29r 27 #8 Posted February 22, 2008 A round fender 110? There is though about that ? GO GET IT MAN!!!
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #9 Posted February 22, 2008 Stephen, I sold the LT133, which is just a lawn tractor, not near as a heavy machine as the 210. BTW, JD didn't introduce the hydraulic lifts until 1966. Double check the serial number and then go to wfm and do a serial number check. Go here Serial number lookup. Remember JD didn't use the letters O and I in their serial numbers, and when typing the serial number in that link, don't use dashes or spaces.
Rollerman 290 #10 Posted February 22, 2008 Terry that was my 2nd guess...a 66...my 3rd is a 67. Next time over I'll get the serial number. Belongs to a buddy of mine & it's a pretty decent tractor. Still needs some assembly...it puked the Peerless. It's going to be a trade/cash deal...I need to get my trade offer gooing...of & then there's the cash...
dspdante 0 #11 Posted February 23, 2008 Spent a few hours blowing snow this afternoon. We had a 8-10 which was no problem for the Dxi. Enjoy the pics!
nylyon-(Admin) 7,121 #12 Posted February 23, 2008 Man that 2-stage sure can throw the snow, great pictures!
Nick 13 #13 Posted February 23, 2008 Those are some nice pictures. Only thing better would be video of it with about twice that much snow. But I bet that still wouldnt be much trouble for the big diesel and 2 stage blower.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #14 Posted February 23, 2008 Great pictures. That thing does blow the snow. I agree with Nick, that would make for great videos.

Rollerman 290 #18 Posted February 23, 2008 I can't get over the way it's chuckin snow to the far side of the drive across what he's already cleaned.
kj4kicks 151 #19 Posted February 23, 2008 We only got a few inches of snow, then a bunch of rain..... again ! Maybe someday I'll get to try out the 2 stage! Nice pics guys !!
Greg B. 1 #20 Posted February 23, 2008 You guys get to play in snow and all I got to do was rototill the neighbor's garden patch! Thanks for the pics. Greg B.
BPjunk 184 #21 Posted February 23, 2008 Hey wait a minute .... these pictures might be faked! In the last picture there is a snow shovel handle sticking out in the bottom right of the picture! Wow to do all that work by hand! Only kidding with ya'! The picture taken of going down the driveway is an advertising quality picture ... it is artistic! The contrast in colors, the sweeping curve of the driveway and the arc of the snow being blown across makes this picture a winner! Bill in Richmond, Va. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #22 Posted February 23, 2008 Yeah, Bill, he cheated. He shoveled the whole drive with the manual snow removal tool and then fire up the old Wheel Horse and drove down the driveway with a frozen section of plume coming out the chute. With a touch of photo editing and it looks like he use that blower on the whole drive. He had us all fooled. I agree, though, seriously, with Bill here, the second shot of the tractor coming down the drive is a great shot, almost advertising quality and positioning. I think that would be a great shot for the 2009 Wheel Horse Calendar. BTW, Around August I will be asking for some high resolution pictures to use in next year's calendar. So please saved all of your best shots (everyone) when I come a knocking.
kpinnc 10,762 #23 Posted February 23, 2008 Yeah, that one definately looks like it should go into the next Redsquare calendar! Kevin
combatmp29r 27 #24 Posted February 23, 2008 Awesome pics. That diesel and 2 stage is quite a combination.
