TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted December 6, 2009 i want a round hood bad but can't find one The first thing you need to do is calm down. If you jump at something too quickly you will regret it. There are tractors out there and you will find a decent one at a good price - it just might not be today. Check the local classifieds, auction listings, and online sites (but watch out for the over-inflated eBay prices ) and be patient. If you can wait until June, make a trip to the WHCC show in PA and I'm sure you'll find one there. As for your 633 questions....... A 633 originally had a Kohler K-141 so a K-161 and K-181 (and an M8 Magnum) will also fit. The 633 was originally recoil start only, so you'll need to do the wiring to match the engine and if you use an engine with a gear-drive starter you'll need a smaller battery than the standard L&G type. bitten 134 #3 Posted December 6, 2009 TT does have a very good point, dont rush into something. If its in your price bracket(seems high to me) and you are able to do the work then go for it. If not walk away till a better day. Good luck
Indy w h 5 #4 Posted December 7, 2009 Tell the owner all the problems on it and see if he'll come off the price any(like the wrong engine) ya never know!! Or offer him $100 Indy
