eibbed 63 #1 Posted December 5, 2009 Gentlemen, Earlier this week I mounted my used ATV 25X10-12 tires and weighted rear rims on the 702. I also attached the like new snow blade I recently purchased from fellow RedSquare member Jim Huffman on the 702. I thought I'd share a picture. I just hope it works good in the snow. eibbed 63 #9 Posted December 5, 2009 Thank you all for the nice compliments. From everything I have previously read on our forum, I felt that the ATV tires with some weight, but not too much weight, might work well. I'll let you know. Dave

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,527 #11 Posted December 5, 2009 Looks good but I would add tire chains or you have trouble with traction. :notworthy:
Gerry w 2 #12 Posted December 5, 2009 That's a snow machine! Get a hold of MaineDad, (Micah) he has a handle on rubber chains if your drive is paved, they won't eat it up like metal ones will. Love the inside rear weights! Do you have the hood and if so are you going to put it on before snow fall??
stevasaurus 23,274 #13 Posted December 5, 2009 something about a 702 with a blade on it...pure horse sex. :notworthy:
Suburban 550 28 #14 Posted December 5, 2009 Tires look really cool. Hope it works out for you without any chains. :notworthy:
eibbed 63 #15 Posted December 7, 2009 Yes, I have the hood for it. I've also got some chains that are for 23X10.5-12 turf tires, but I guess they will be too small for the 25X10-12 ATV tires. Or is there a way I could make them work if I need to? Also, thanks for the heads up, but I'm not at all concerned with using chains on my driveway. It is so rough now, using chains may be an improvement. However, the neighbors driveways are in good shape, so I may check with Mainedad (Micha)on the availability and cost for some rubber ones. Once again, thanks for all the kind words. Dave
