What is the difference between the 2 editions? I have the 2nd edition and am wondering if picking up the 1st is worth it?

I have both, if you have the 2nd one you basicly have the first one plus, no need to spend a arm and leg on info you already have.

Joe... he was referring to the $125 first edition one. That was being sold privately, Martino no longer has those for sale. Unless you have a desire to have both editions in your collection the second edition was the better deal. Some copies of the first edition usually come up on ebay around christmas, and have always fetched some pretty top dollars.

The first edition is getting close to 10 years old now... the second edition was self-published by Martino two summers back, and is basically just a reprint with additional pictures (mostly advertisements) and maybe a little bit of new info here and there... oh, and the CD with an audio file of Cecil Pond reading the book's forward. I was hoping he would have put some of the old advertising jingles or radio ads on it too.. but he did not.

Frank... I don't know what in the world you could possibly mean?! When I got my first edition, my wife told me that there was a publishing SNAFU and mine didn't come with a page 73! :notworthy:
