Kelly 1,033 #1 Posted November 28, 2009 I picked up this very nice used cab for $100 I think it's for a XI series tractor but fit with only two holes needed in the footrest, it's extra deep in the back, and has a zippered panel to aid in fueling, I also mounted up a new seat I had for another project, and put a new gas strut in to hold the seat up, $10 at a auto parts store, I never mounted a cab, I'm here to tell you, a extra set of hand would be nice, and maybe a manual, but I got it, I'm going to clean the windows, and maybe put antifog stuff on the inside, bet I like it better blowing snow with a cab, maybe not look like a snowman when done . But that is not a Cab for an XI, You have the correct cab for your tractor which is the same used for a 300, 400, 500 series tractor. and looks like this with and optional Hard Widow and Wiper System. An XI Cab looks like the one below, And has clear panels down by the footrests to see the ground. This is the one I have, and I am sorry to say will require more than a couple footrest holes drilled to go on the 417A tractor, and possibly some panels sewn and redesigned.
