fireman 1,022 #1 Posted November 28, 2009 I saw a listing in the Bargain News 6 months ago for this sign. I called the guy and told him I would take it. He is located in Maine but comes down to RI once a month or so for business. Every time he was coming down, I wasn't able to go meet him. Well he called and said he was coming down for the long weekend and did I wan't him to bring it with him. Well 2 hours each way with a stop at Harbor Freight on the way back and this what I got for Christmas:

fireman 1,022 #8 Posted November 28, 2009 Micah, He actually posted it here: bargainnews.com . He told me he used to collect Wheel Horse tractors but sold off his collection to pursue other hobbies. This was all that was left. He now restores vintage motorcycles. The amazing part was I had saw it and didn't call right away. After about a week I called the number expecting it to be sold but it wasn't. The best part was the price: $150 :notworthy:

fireman 1,022 #13 Posted November 28, 2009 That is actually an aluminum frame with two plastic sides made for hanging so it can be viewed from both ways. I will probably hang it on the wall and leave the other side off. The aluminum is dirty and has a little oxidation. It should clean right up.

stevasaurus 23,274 #15 Posted November 28, 2009 So Jeff...with a little ingenuity you could have 4 signs hanging on the wall... I think I would donate one to the nicest 502 at the show next year. great score. :WRS:
