Bolens Information

I was wondering if any of you guys out there might be able to help me out. A while back I bought a nice little Bolens tractor with a decent mower deck, but no belts on the deck.

I don't have a manual and can't find one. I'm looking for the part number of the deck spindle belt and drive belt from the pto to the deck.

It's G16YT FMC/Bolens, made in the mid 80's. I've heard this model was built for Bolens by Gilson.

Anybody out there have any ideas?

I e-mailed both of them a couple of weeks ago and never heard a thing from them. I guess they don't want to sell me a pair of belts all that bad.

Jim, there's a manual on ebay right now.

Bolens Manual

It's in York, PA -- so maybe you could talk Eldon in to going to the sellers location to borrow the book to look up your mower belt sizes. (or part numbers)

(I'm not sure, but I wonder if that would be in a seperate mower deck manual?)

Did you get a hold of anyone at Ray's yet? :thumbs:

I think I'll buy that manual and hope for the best, you're probably right though the deck is most likely a seperate manual. But this manual may still get me closer.

I did talk to Ray's and they need the model number of the tractor, that's a big problem on this one, you can't read the model number anymore.
