Jim_M 179 #1 Posted February 21, 2008 I was wondering if any of you guys out there might be able to help me out. A while back I bought a nice little Bolens tractor with a decent mower deck, but no belts on the deck. I don't have a manual and can't find one. I'm looking for the part number of the deck spindle belt and drive belt from the pto to the deck. It's G16YT FMC/Bolens, made in the mid 80's. I've heard this model was built for Bolens by Gilson. Anybody out there have any ideas? Thanks, Jim
Buzz 502 #2 Posted February 21, 2008 Hey Jim, here are two links that might help you out. http://www.samsbolens.com/illustrations.html http://www.sonnysbolens.com/
Jim_M 179 #3 Posted February 21, 2008 I e-mailed both of them a couple of weeks ago and never heard a thing from them. I guess they don't want to sell me a pair of belts all that bad.

TT-(Moderator) 1,147 #6 Posted February 27, 2008 Jim, there's a manual on ebay right now. Bolens Manual It's in York, PA -- so maybe you could talk Eldon in to going to the sellers location to borrow the book to look up your mower belt sizes. (or part numbers) (I'm not sure, but I wonder if that would be in a seperate mower deck manual?) Did you get a hold of anyone at Ray's yet?
Jim_M 179 #7 Posted February 27, 2008 Terry, I think I'll buy that manual and hope for the best, you're probably right though the deck is most likely a seperate manual. But this manual may still get me closer. I did talk to Ray's and they need the model number of the tractor, that's a big problem on this one, you can't read the model number anymore. Thanks Hawkeye!
