Polaris2007 4 #1 Posted November 24, 2009 Hi guys. Does anyone know the size in inches of the drive belt on my '77 C-120 8-speed? I'm putting the tractor back together after a complete restoration, and the belt seems too long. The idler arm/wheel is almost straight up. It seems to me it would grab better if the arm was only part way up when the belt comes tight. I'm thinking of trying a belt that is an inch or two shorter. Thoughts? :notworthy:

can whlvr 994 #3 Posted November 24, 2009 this topic of belt size comes up a fair bit and some people have good luck with aftermarket belts and some of us dont, iuse my girls really hard quite a lot of the time so i recommend a wheelhorse belt,a little more $ but worth it imho.
