rickv1957 74 #1 Posted November 23, 2009 A couple of weeks ago I purchased a 702 with original cart as you guys seen,my son wanted it,which is great, but he was also wanting a blade , he found one for sale and went to look this afternoon,he called me and ask if wheelhorse ever put hydraulics on them ,I gave him the details, tractor is in good shape with deck hydaulics and blade, but has a briggs now and also original kohler,he sounds very excited,I will post some pictures after I visit him on turkey day and pickup tractor,Rick
gattonde 2 #2 Posted November 23, 2009 Nice find Rick, two 702's found that quick, awesome. I am looking at a 62 702 and wondering if asking price is too high. He want's $350, it has been painted and look's pretty clean. Not a show winner but decent, no rust, run's good , no smoke, but might need a starter generator since it does not charge the battery. I would appreciate any opinion on what it would be worth. gattonde
linen beige 15 #3 Posted November 23, 2009 I have a 702 with a '61 dozer blade (no trip springs), solid lift link for down pressure, and the HY-2. Pushing stuff around with this little thing is maybe my favorite Wheel Horse thing to do.
rickv1957 74 #4 Posted November 23, 2009 Will take the best from the two and make one nice one,350.00 is what both cost with blade and cart, both run but need TLC and paint,Rick
gattonde 2 #5 Posted November 23, 2009 Thanks Rick, that's what I thought also ($350 being too much) , but wanted to see if I was way off on the price. I bet your 702 will turn out great, like the rest of you collection Thanks again, Dan
