dgoyette 12 #6 Posted November 23, 2009 Very nice 101 - really like that picture taken from the rear. Looks ready to tackle anything. I can't tell you how many times I have heard you can't use chains on AG's -the theory being the chains fall between the lugs and do no good. I would like to show those folks your pics and let them explain how those chains will not help with traction! Looks like they could be tightened up a bit though. What kind of work do you have planned for it? Thanks for posting them!
Helmer 0 #7 Posted November 23, 2009 I think you're right Darren, those chains need to be tightened up. Got some loose stumps that need to be pulled out, then I'll put on the plow. I've got some old leaf piles and sticks that need to be pushed further back into my woods. I want to gain more yard so the tractor and chainsaw will have to do some work. I made room in the garage for the tractor so I'll be ready for snow. The mowing deck needs some tlc so I'll get that done during the long winter ahead!! Have a great Holiday!! jpmcleod 4 #8 Posted November 23, 2009 I like the hood emblem. I need one for my hood. My emblem is missing and need something to fill in the two holes.
Helmer 0 #9 Posted November 23, 2009 I think the hood emblem is from a Cadillac. Its spring loaded so when you run into bushes and brush it just springs down. My dad put that on years ago so I think I'll keep it. Thanks for noticing.
whfan74 2,071 #10 Posted November 23, 2009 Sweet looking tractor! Never had one of those myself but I like it! Sounds as though it has it's work cut out for it! Nothing better than making the job easier with a Horse!
