Ken B 3,189 #1 Posted November 22, 2009 I've had my eye on this Horse for a few days now. Once I showed pictures to my 15 yr old son and explained to him it was an automatic trans. with no effort snow blade lifting he was totally psyched too get it. He wants too make some extra paper plowing out neighbors drives this winter. (besides, with all the local horse snaggin goin on I been feeling left out! Lol!) What really sold me on this tractor was what was under its hood. Over the phone its elderly original owner was telling me it had a 7 yr. old factory replacement motor. I thought too myself, okay it could still have a zillion hrs on it. I was interested enough too go look. Once there and speaking with the old gent he explained, yes its a 7 yr. old factory new motor but he only used it too cut his grass three times at 2 hrs each time before his eye sight was so bad he retired from doing his own lawn maint. After taking a ride I knew I had to have it. I got such a good deal on it I coulda been charged with Horse thieving.

Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted November 22, 2009 I don't know what you paid for it but it looks to be nice, maybe a 68 but could be a 69 does the elect. clutch work? very nice unit.
Ken B 3,189 #4 Posted November 22, 2009 Its a 1969. The electric clutch was new when the motor was replaced. I tried it and it does work. I picked it up for 300 bucks with a very nice 48 inch mower deck, the blade, snowchains, brand new belt in the bag, new filter and trans fluid were in a box and I'll do that this week.
