TT. what in the heck was the deal with 1046.. Different tranny?

I have both 1056 and 1056 and knew the 1057 has the bigger trans.

From what I understand, the 1046 was a "clean-up" model built only to use up the remaining 1055/1075 engines leftover from 1965.

The 1046 tractor is identical to the 1056 with the exception of the belt guard decal, engine, and the riser plate that connects it to the frame. (so the centerline of the crankshaft was at the same height as the crankshaft on the engine with the "tall" oil pan.

Needless to say, there aren't very many around.

B) :party: Hi Larry I do not think it is a 1057 because of the floor boards they had foot rest like the 1056 has i think u have a commando there or raider. sorry but I think this is the way it is. Gary B..... :clap::hbd: B)

It is a 1057 with newer footrests added on.

B) TT I had an eleventh grade American History teacher that I think is a mirror image to you. I can just imagine you shaking your head just like he used. I never learn as much from any other as I did him. I absolutely love reading your posts. :party:
