fireman 1,022 #1 Posted November 20, 2009 Well this got listed late last night on Craigslist. Just happened to be checking it one more time before I hit the sack. Called last night at 11:30 and left a message. Called again first thing this morning then hit the road to go get it. The story goes the guy I got it from bought his house from an old woman who was going in a nursing home. The house came with all it's contents. Her husband had died and this hadn't been used in over 5 years. The husband had been the original owner and had a large garden next to the house hence the attachments that came with it. The fuel tank leaks and needs a new gasket. I cranked it over and it seems like it should fire up no problem. The bottom plow is a Brinly. Not sure who made the Cultivator. Gerry w 2 #5 Posted November 20, 2009 Dang, nice grab! Good looking rig with attachments! What's the thing driven by the belt in between the driver's knees? It looks stock, is it? A generator? Darn nice looking tractor! Thanks for the pics!
WHC-125 4 #6 Posted November 20, 2009 Jeff, really nice find! Wish I was up that late I would like to get another round hood soon to restore! Gerry, that thing you see in the middle of the tractor between the driver's legs is the HY-2 pump, lines, and resovoir. Also, as you can see on the left side of the tractor is the lift ram. linen beige 15 #22 Posted November 20, 2009 Gerry, that thing you see in the middle of the tractor between the driver's legs is the HY-2 pump, lines, and resovoir. Also, as you can see on the left side of the tractor is the lift ram. That's actually an HY-3. Same basic setup, but the HY-2 won't properly mount on the 753. Notice the lack of a box for the switches and the hood stand mount is different between the HY-2 and HY-3. The rockshafts are different also. Jeff, That's a great find! That hydro lift makes using a front blade too much fun. Hooked up with a solid lift link for down pressure it will make you look for places to dig holes.
