Prater 76 #1 Posted November 14, 2009 I went to a shop that was under new ownership. They hauled off a bunch of machines to the salvage but kept all the WH parts. I got a call to pick them up and figured that I might get lucky with a rear end. Big suprise when I arrived. I have a complete C-100 that is supposed to run. There is also a C-140 rolling chassis with engine and all body parts in the back of my truck, also a lot of little parts, extra front axle and wheels to an unknown tractor and another hood. I will take some better pics when I start unloading.

Prater 76 #14 Posted November 17, 2009 I was able to get the C-100 running with starter fluid. I had to clean all the electrical contacts with a wire brush. I pulled the gas tank and cleaned it out and put in a gallon of gas. I installed a new filter but the gas line running to the fuel pump is rotted. After new gas line today I should have it running this evening. There is no oil dipstick, it has a plug installed in the block. Will a dipstick from a 16HP work, or do I need to get one for a 10HP model? I gave dad the 14HP motor from the frame, we were able to start it up over the weekend. It will be going on his C-111 since the briggs motor had problems.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #16 Posted November 17, 2009 I just saw this thread - I'm sure you meant a rolling C-141 instead of C-140. :notworthy:
Prater 76 #17 Posted November 17, 2009 It may have been a C-145, dont know since it was in pieces...no plastic rear fenders though.
