Recommended Posts

What is everyone using and where are you getting the rubber anti slip matting for the foot rest on C-160 300 400 500 etc tractors. Does not have to be factory for me but I can't believe two piece of rubber should cost $30 with shipping.

I was thinking of using these(see link below). They aren't a match to original but I care more about function than I do getting OEM parts. In the local Wal-Mart by me they are in the auto section by the trailer hitches ($12 for a pair I think). I like them because they have a deep tread (lots of clay at my house). Online is cheaper but shipping evens it out.

I have a couple sets of what is in that topic from Eldon. They look great and go on very easy. Go to his website and you will receive them real quick.

Dunk,

Pick up some 3M spray adhesive from your local hardware or big box store. Clean the metal real well, spray to the back of the mat and place it on there. Works out good and mine are holding real nice.

Been looking around in local stores and big boxes for rubber material

for foot pads and came up with a roll of fiber-reinforced black rubber

sheet 1/16x12x48" for $4.00 at K-Mart. Very tough stuff sold as shelf

lining. That's enough (as if you didn't know) for 8 pads the size needed

for my C-type WH's.
