PRICELESS!!!

Recommended Posts

Docwheelhorse

Greasing up 414-8 and adding 2 gallons of fresh 89 fuel---> $6

Calling in to work to pick up leaves with 42" deck and Vac Bagger--> FREE

Running over kids jump rope in the leaves and having it wrap around all the spindles---> Again FREE ( even for free who wants it... lol)

Shutting tractor off and removing deck in under 5 minutes via the TACH-A-MATIC system, then flipping it over and removing the jump rope and re-installing the deck and going back to work in another 5 minutes---> FREAKIN PRICELESS!!!

:scratchead: God Bless the Tach-A-Matic

I can relate. I have three kids (5,7,8) and a yellow lab that drags out, into the yard, whatever they forget too! Good story. I thought it was just me that kind of stuff happens too!

Doc: This had to be one of the reasons Wheel Horse moved to the creation of the Attach-A-Matic. All those old gear driven mowers could really wrap around those old jump ropes!

Great story and even a better reminder as I have two little ones! So far so safe........it's only a matter of time until I ruin a "prized" possession!

Glad that it wasn't any worse for you! :scratchead:

I agree. The worst offender for the gear driven decks?....... plastic bailing twine or 6 pack beverage holders.. Grrrrrrrrrr. LOL.

I had a similiar thing happen with my dad.

I set him up with an 85 310-8 a few years back since his new craftsman was breaking on him constantly.

Anyways he called me at work to tell me he caught the dog chain in the deck & the tractor was stuck in the front yard.

Took me about 10 minutes total to pull the deck, unwind the chain, check for damage, & reinstall it.

We found my mom a new dog about a week later. :scratchead:.....kidding!
