KC9KAS 4,744 #1 Posted October 28, 2009 I'm new to RS, although I have been watching for about a year. I am amazed at the knowledge and experiences I read about on RS. I have a 42" dozer blade that fits on my 1975 B-80 and B-100 (large frame model I think), and the angle lever and rod are missing. I don't have the exact model of the blade, but want to know where I might find a replacement. Thanks!
dgjks6 8 #2 Posted October 29, 2009 Start here. This is the toro site for parts. Just put in wheel horse, attachment, 1975 and select the 42 inch blade. It will give you a diagram with the part number. https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?...es&xCaller=Toro then go to Jack's small engines and enter the part number. For example, the index lever is part number 104340. It is $26 at Jacks. Hope this helps.

KyBlue 655 #5 Posted October 29, 2009 Ken, If you have the ability you could make one.
KC9KAS 4,744 #6 Posted October 30, 2009 I have the ability to make one, and I heard or saw where someone made one using a (motorcycle?) brake lever on a rod to operate the angle release pin. Right now, I don't even know what the original one is supposed to look like, BUT tomorrow I am picking up a 1964 654 with lots of attachments, and it has a dozer blade WITH the lever! KyBlue 655 #7 Posted October 31, 2009 Ken, here ya go. I priced buying the whole getup from toro, 27 bucks for the handle isnt bad, but 33 bucks for the small lever at the top to pull the release pin...Is just CRAZY... at least in my book! Heres a Photo for ya maybe this will help.
Gerry w 2 #8 Posted October 31, 2009 A bikes brake handle works great, even has a hole for the cable to be held in place that's already there!
